Because a deep connection to music is emotive, not analytic, it’s hard to describe an Audiolab experience adequately. It’s something you feel and feel deeply. It’s this philosophy of putting heart before head that separates Audiolab from fellow brands.
Formed in the early 80s, Audiolab earned worldwide acclaim with its 8000A – a classic step-up stereo amplifier from the more budget models of the time. Its simple, well-constructed ergonomics and crisp, transparent sound quickly defined it. Today, Audiolab combines its earliest principles with innovative, performance-led design to deliver award-winning products like the 6000 Series. Audiolab has won more major awards in UK hi-fi magazines than any other audio electronics brand.
But perhaps Audiolab’s lead engineer, Jan Ertner, a man with over 25 years of professional experience, expresses it best: ‘I don’t stop working until I feel myself saying, I want one. That’s the moment when I know it’s right.’ And we get the feeling you’re going to want one too.
