Description
The SVS SB-3000 Sealed Subwoofer pairs a 13-inch high-excursion driver with an 800-watt RMS Sledge STA-800D2 amplifier for deep bass in music and home cinema systems. Rated at over 2,500 watts peak, the amplifier powers a compact sealed design with a frequency response of 18–270 Hz (±3 dB).
A Purpose-Built 13-Inch Driver
The driver combines an aluminium cone, a cast aluminium basket and a split-wind voice coil designed to improve efficiency across its range of movement. Dual ferrite magnets provide the driving force, while the rigid MDF cabinet and internal bracing help reduce enclosure resonance.
Power and Digital Precision
The Class D amplifier uses fully discrete MOSFET output devices and a 50 MHz Analog Devices audio DSP. The processor controls the driver and provides adjustment tools for integrating the subwoofer with your speakers and room.
Convenient Tuning and Presets
The SVS app connects via Bluetooth to adjust volume, crossover, phase, polarity and room gain compensation. Three-band parametric EQ and three custom presets let you save tuning profiles for different listening preferences. Rear-panel Intelligent Control Interface controls provide direct access to the main settings.
Connections and Cabinet
Stereo RCA inputs and outputs support connection to compatible amplifiers and AV receivers. With the grille fitted, the cabinet measures 397 mm high × 385 mm wide × 451 mm deep and weighs 24.7 kg. A protective steel mesh grille and screw-in rubber feet complete the design.
