Description
The SVS SB-1000 Classic Sealed Box Home Subwoofer adds controlled low-frequency output to stereo and home cinema systems. Its front-firing 12-inch long-stroke driver and Sledge STA-300D amplifier deliver 300 watts RMS from a compact sealed cabinet in Black Ash, with a frequency response of 24–260 Hz (±3 dB).
Compact Sealed Design
The high-output driver combines a lightweight cone, dual ferrite magnets and a durable rubber surround. The rigid, internally braced MDF cabinet helps control enclosure resonance and keeps the design practical for rooms where floor space matters.
Sledge Amplification and DSP
The efficient Class D amplifier includes digital signal processing matched to the driver and cabinet. Its tuning supports controlled bass response and integration with the main speakers, while the low-power standby mode consumes less than 0.5 watts.
Direct, Practical Controls
Rear-panel volume, continuously variable low-pass crossover and phase controls let you adjust the subwoofer to suit your system. An LFE setting allows a compatible AV receiver to manage the crossover.
Flexible Connections
Stereo line-level RCA inputs connect to compatible preamplifiers and receivers. Stereo RCA outputs include an 80 Hz high-pass filter, and speaker-level inputs provide another connection option for suitable amplifiers.
